I just couldn’t believe it. A $250,000 a year salary. Gone.
With me out of work, our only income was my wife’s $84,000 a year salary as a nurse. For 2 1/2 years we shouldered on, burning through $185,000 in savings to make our monthly mortgage payment of $3,919. Finally, with the nest egg we built from 20 years of marriage gone and our children about to enter college, we had to do something. I contacted Able, and within 60 days we completed our modification. Our new mortgage payment is $2,200 per month for the entire life of the loan. I feel better but I still need work.

It has been a pleasure doing business with Able Financial.
I found them on the internet, called them and immediately received great customer service. Mr. Donson was VERY knowledgeable and the rest of the staff was professional and made me feel at ease. Most other loan modification companies just wanted to pitch their line but Mr. Donson educated me on the entire process. They were very diligent in their work. They stayed on top of my lender and kept me in the loop at all times. I usually don’t get this kind of service for much of what I pay for these days but these guys are great, I highly recommend them. Great work. I definitely will refer my colleagues.—Floyd H.
At the time, I owned 8 homes, 6 with serious mortgages
I’ve been in construction since I was 19 and owned my own company since 1991. By working hard and investing in real estate: Remodeling, reselling, reinvesting; I was able to put two daughters through private school. Then the housing bubble burst in late 2007. Having lived in Manhattan Beach our whole lives, my wife and I thought we could outlast the downturn. I mortgaged one of my free and clear homes to make payments on the homes I hadn’t been able to sell. Not believing anyone would or could help I waited to the last to get involved with Able Financial, although to late to save all the homes they have secured an exit strategy, a residence, and two of the houses. My recommendation is to get good help early in a bad situation.

Here’s how it went.
I gave them every opportunity to lie to me and they wouldn’t. I provided them with all the information they asked for, once. They created a mortgage that made much more sense and saved us $1,200 per month. I paid them as agreed. So clean, in todays world, hard to find.

We purchased our dream in June 2006.
We had planned our move to Palm Springs for years and we should have completed the move years before. Our home is a four-plex apartment building, it was supposed to provide great income with very low maintenance. Well, we had a great year and a half before our renters told us that the rent was way to high. We lost two in two months. We were devastated, the thought of losing our home and our retirement income was nearly too much. We doubted ourselves, the constant pressure was very hard to deal with. Anne contacted Able and started the process, we provided the information they needed and they completed the modification. We were able to lower the rents, fill the two apartments and keep our dream.

Peter’s position in the law firm he held for over 28 years was lost.
When the firm was dissolved, our household income fell by nearly $300,000 a year. This left us wondering how we could keep both of our properties, one in Arcadia and one on Maui. Peter is 66 years old and I was really hoping he would retire, but the situation we found ourselves in was baffling. Able Financial met with Peter and I, we discussed our circumstances and put a plan in place. Able restructured the loan on the Maui property we had purchased in 2007, securing not only a $2,400 reduction in monthly payments, but also a $200,000 reduction in principal. I just didn’t know it could be done.

I’m a full grown man. I run my own company. I used to make a lot of money. Now I make a lot less.
I called, had meetings and explained the circumstances to my bank. They told me I couldn’t be helped because I owed more on my property than it was worth. How do you like that? I filed my own modification with Chase at their website, and they turned me down, saying that my income was too high. Two months later I found Able Financial Solutions, they took my call, met with me, gathered up my documents and restructured my home loan with Chase. I’m saving $850 per month. I always tell people when you want something moved, get somebody that does it for a living. That’s what I do: Move machinery around the world or next door. Do you want to restructure your mortgage? Get Able to do it. That way you can spend your time doing what you do for a living
